who are we?

Matriarchy, a community built by single mothers, for single mothers. Using our strength, care and collective knowledge to empower each other and give meaningful support

Matriarchy is more than just an online space; it's a movement towards reclaiming and celebrating the matriarchal values that have always been at the heart of strong communities.

How do we do it?

Intentional Peer Support

Creating supportive relationships that move beyond traditional "helping" models. Building strong, supportive relationships within your community, that are intentionally driven towards a purpose so you can all thrive.
Collective wisdom

Recognising the value of our collective wisdom, sharing stories and advice just like our ancestors before us. Empowering us with the knowledge of the community and building a wise and knowing village amongst us.

Moving away from the more modern approach to single motherhood of trying to do it all on your own and instead embracing the village online and with face to face meetups in your local area.
